From the Author's Desk: December News and Updates from the Salamanderverse.

It’s December outside, and the year is almost at an end. 2023 has been a busy year, filled with a roller coaster of events. Looking back, it’s hard to believe, but this year, I released four books, completed The Shadow Enforcer series and began a new journey with Chronicles of Storm.

It’s been two weeks since I published The Storm Mystery, and the positive feedback it has received from readers has filled my heart with gratitude. Your support has been invaluable to me, and I can’t be more grateful. Thank you to everyone who picked up a copy, read it and took the time to leave an honest review. Knowing that you enjoyed the story is the greatest reward a writer could ask for.

The Storm Mystery | Urban Fantasy Novel

What Am I Working On?

Currently, I am working on the third instalment of the Chronicles of Storm series. Believe it or not, I am already close to the halfway point, at nearly 65K words. This story is filled with strange and unexplainable events. At least in the beginning of the book, Declan and Troyan are completely puzzled by everything that is happening around them.

So, what should you expect from book three of Chronicles of Storm? Here are three random facts:

Chronicles of Storm

FACT 1: The story is a little darker than the previous two, and it picks up the pace from the very first chapter.

FACT 2: A couple of characters from another series make an appearance in this story, and I hope you'll enjoy their visit.

FACT 3: You'll finally meet the mysterious vampire, who Declan believes is Troyan's maker. But is he willing to share his story? That remains to be seen.

Ask The Author

Question: What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Answer:

“Writing is the painting of the voice.” - Voltaire

The journey of writing a book is always filled with moments of doubt, excitement, and everything in between. There are so many great things about being a writer. I love the crazy worlds and stories that somehow exist in my mind. Bringing them to life in my books makes me happy and allows me to escape from reality every time I open my MAC and start writing.

Take a step into an unknown, breathtaking world filled with suspense, magic, and adventure. Live through them. Imagine them as you write. Meet your characters and listen to them speak with you. Fall in love, experience the heartbreak, feel the excitement and terror of a battle, live to the fullest when everything hangs in the balance... and then return to reality...

This is what writing is. At least for me.

But probably, most of all, I love to hear the feedback from my readers who enjoyed the story, fell in love with the characters, and want to read more. This is a one of a kind feeling that is hard to put into words.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email me. I’ll be happy to answer your questions in my next Author’s update.

As always, thank you all so much for your continued support.

Happy reading!
